Co-working volunteers needed...

14th Jan 2018 by Space2B

We are looking for volunteers to test out our brand new co-working space and provide feedback. Could that be you?

Space2B at The Maltings is the ultimate divergent business hub in Cardiff and is already home to 70 innovative and growing businesses, offering state-of-the-art working space steeped in heritage.

We are launching a brand new co-working haven, Space2Co-Work which offers a flexible range of memberships designed to meet the requirements of small, growing and freelance businesses. Along with the basics that you would expect in your workspace, we want to go above and beyond to offer a supportive network and a dedicated team within an inspiring yet calm environment to help your business with whatever your future plans are.

Superfast WIFI, on-site parking, on-site café, bike racks, free tea and coffee, free printing services and a complimentary shuttle bus to and from the city centre will all come as standard on our monthly membership packages.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for 5 volunteers to test out our brand new collaborative co-working space prior to opening to the public. Whether you are currently self-employed, a start-up, a freelancer or a homeworker - we would love to hear from you. We have listened to the needs of South Wales’ businesses when creating the space (via Doopoll) … Now, we want feedback on the physical space now that your requests have turned into a reality.

As a member of Space2Co-Work, we want to ensure that you receive value for your membership fees and when you are here, you feel inspired, relaxed and comfortable, but most of all, we want to ensure that you are proud to call Space2B at The Maltings your work home. Is the internet fast enough? Is there enough break-out space? Do you rate the coffee? (yes, we know that’s important to you!). We want Space2Co-Work to be the Space2B in Cardiff and we want your help to achieve that.

What we need from you

We’re not asking for much, just some of your time to be spent in a brand new creative workspace and a bit of feedback to make things better! Here’s what we’d expect from you;

  • Two weeks commitment from 7th – 23th February to use the space for free**
  • Honest and constructive feedback of the layout, atmosphere, decoration, systems and processes of Space2Co-Work and the building as a whole
  • Positive promotion on social media and promote Space2Co-Work and Space2B to your networks
  • Complete an anonymous questionnaire post trial on memberships, improvements and future suggestions of what you would like to see in a workspace
